Rockin' the House at Peggy Kinnane's!

Let's hear it for the debut of the cover band "Let's Make Some Noise" at Peggy Kinnane's last Sunday!   Our classmates Madison, Mick, Wade, Jolie, and Cody did such a fantastic job performing their hearts out!

They appreciate all of those that attended.   Because of everyone's generosity they raised $850 for Hospice!   Way to go!

Get Excited for the Solar Awards!

You've heard of the Oscars.

Now your student will have the opportunity to participate in the Solars next week!

Starting on Monday, the students will play their researched planet podcasts for the class.

On Tuesday, the students will have the opportunity to vote for the award category for each planet researched.

The award categories are:  Speediest Planet, Most Beautiful Planet, Wildest Temperature, Strangest Atmosphere, Most Fascinating Moon, Best Planet, Scariest Planet, and Most Unique Planet.  Afterwards, they will have to justify why they voted for their planet in a particular category.

The results of the voting will be announced at our Solars Award Ceremony on Wednesday.   Students from each planet will have the opportunity to walk down the red carpet to accept their awards.  They are also encouraged to wear their Sunday best apparel!   (Ties, suits, and fancy dresses welcome that day!)

A BIG THANKS!!!!!!

Thank you so much for making my Teacher's Appreciation Week so special!    I appreciate all of the delicious lounge treats, Starbuck's surprise, and our adorably decorated door.    Most of all though, I appreciate all of you.   How blest and lucky I am to have such a fantastic class full of such supportive parents.
