Parent Night is On Tuesday, August 27th!

     I hope that your child had a terrific first week in third grade! As a reminder, Westgate's Parent Night will be next Tuesday, August  28th. During this time, I will be discussing our classroom's curriculum, daily routines, yearly events, and answer any questions you may have.

Welcome to Room 116!

        Welcome to Room 116!  Get excited for a fantastic third grade year!  I truly look forward to having you as a part of our class and working with you.

          Our first day of school will start on Thursday, August 23^rd.  Please note that it is a full day of school from 9:05-3:35 pm.   If you were not able to make it to our “Welcome to Westgate Day” on Friday to drop off your supplies, please don’t worry!     You can just make sure to bring all of your supplies with you on the first day of school.   If you pre-ordered a school supply box, it will be waiting for you at your desk when you arrive.  Also, it is not necessary to label any of your supplies with your name.  We will label your supplies and folders with special name stickers that I have for you.

         You are also welcome to bring in a snack and water bottle to have during class.   Please be sure that it is a healthy snack that does not contain any type of nuts.   We also ask that your snack be easy to eat and clean-up. 

         Again, I look forward to meeting your smiling face.   I cannot wait to see you at Westgate on Thursday!
